Sony Launches Powerful Playstation 4 Pro and Reveals the Games Optimized for It

Sony’s most powerful game console ever to date, the Playstation 4 Pro, arrived on November 10 with its official launching. In a shift from its past practice of having pre-launched game titles all prepped up inside the console, the new PS4 Pro will have adopters that will choose from a pre-selected batch of existing games that have already been optimized for the game’s faster hardware.

The following list of games will be fully optimized for the PS4 Pro in time for the launching:

  • Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor

Just recently, Battlefield 1, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, and Titanfall 2 were launched that followed with thunderous reviews for its great game and play concepts. Many diehard PS users and those waiting these said games to be launched will be glad for the inclusion. It should be noted that some games will have updates to add Pro support while more recent titles that have been recently launched will have the necessary enhancements built into the core game. Other games that will be eventually optimized for the PS4 Pro will include Killing Floor 2, Watch Dogs 2, Final Fantasy XV, and The Last Guardian. Games scheduled for release in 2017 such as For Honor and Nioh and Resident Evil 7 Biohazard will also be supported and optimized for the Pro.

Also do take note that all PS4 games work on PS4 Pro, but only some are being updated to include enhanced visuals and other improvements. Likewise, with some games, you need a 4K or HDR-ready TV to experience all of the added visual improvements.  The recent Playstation 4 Pro launching revealed the pricing at $399. So far it is considered the fastest console available until Microsoft’s speedier Xbox Project Scorpio arrives in the last quarter of 2017.
