This is how we are feeling now, as CES 2016 is over. CES is largest consumer electronics and technology trade show, which is held annually in LasVegas. It showcases the latest technology trends and really cool gadgets. This year though, there were tons of new tech startups, featuring their products like health focused wearables, 3D printers, VR headsets, drones, etc.
Let’s take a look at these 8 gadgets that we found to be the hottest among the rest.

1) EHang 184 Drone
The new EHang 184 is a human sized, autonomous drone, made by the Chinese company EHang, which would be able to fly with one passenger at 60MPH speed for around 20 minutes. Isn’t it cool? Can we still call it a drone?

2) LG OLED Super UHD 4K TV
Without any doubt, LG’s OLED series has been the best so far since past few years, and this year too, LG is all set to keep a tight hold on the reins. The new series boast a stunning display with just 3mm depth, better colours and contrast, also HDR feature is an addition to the series. The new series come in screen sizes ranging from 49 to 98 inches.

3) Samsung Family Hub Refrigerator
The new Samsung’s smart refrigerator is all about bells and whistles, which are not pointless, but really handy. You can connect to via WiFi and Samsung Smart Home App to keep a track of items inside your fridge along with their expiration date. It captures photo of the inside; every time you close the door, so even if you are at grocery store and don’t remember what else you need, you can just see it on your phone. The large screen on the fridge allows you to post and update calendar, pin photos, leave notes, do online shopping for groceries, suggest recipes, compile shopping lists, play music and even watch TV, and the list goes on. Now you are thinking of getting one, aren’t you?

4) Nima From 6 Sensor Labs
This new device called The Nima, from 6 Sensor Labs, can test any food for gluten in just 2 minutes. This is done on the basis of an antibody test, say the founders. The device uses disposable pods to break down different food items, and the pods have to be replaced after each use. The company will sell the pods separately, on a monthly basis. It’s a really useful device for people who are gluten sensitive or suffering from Celiac.

This unique device from Nascent Objects can measure water consumption by listening to noise of a household water tap. It can prove to be very useful in tracking your daily consumption of water so that you can also reduce your water wastage.

6) GoSun Stove
This is a solar power grill, which directs the sunlight to its main cylinder with the help of its unique and stylish design. The company boasts that in some models it can get heated upto 550 degrees in just 15-20 minutes. The clever design helps it to capture sunlight from a broad range of angles and allowing it to cook food through the day time. Even on cloudy days, it stays warm enough to continue the cooking. Some models are also designed to charge your small electronic items using solar energy, while cooking your food.

7) Oculus Rift
With more and more startups tapping the visual reality platform these days, CES 2016 showed us how much competition there is in this market of the technology sector. Owned by Facebook, Oculus VR has already started taking pre-orders for the Oculus Rift, and are doing pretty good according to the market survey. As HTC and SONY are also in the 3-way fight, who wins the crown of AR/VR king, would be fun to watch.

8) Huawei Watch
Everybody wants a watch that is smart, and what’s better if its beauty compliment its smartness. That’s what Huawei has done. The Chinese company displayed its new smartwatch for women at CES 2016 which features 68 Swarovski Zirconia crystals, 42mm watchcase, changeable straps and also available in rose gold colour option. Powered by Android Wear, watch is compatible with both Android and iOS and displays email, call, message alerts, etc. Blingy!
