Archos, French smartphone maker, , don’t really hold a promising spot in the list of world’s leading smartphone manufacturers but they surely are big in their homeground. Archos has always got a unique excitement in releasing multiple devices at the same time and now it looks like they’ve done it yet again. The company has now unveiled three new smartphones out of which two are identical in terms of design.
These two phones, namely Archos 50e Helium and Archos 50 Cesium, are different however in terms of the software that runs inside them. While the former runs on Android, the latter will be running Windows 10 Mobile which will make it the first Windows 10 running smartphone that is made official.
The 50 Cesium will have a 5-inch 720-pixel touchscreen, an 8 megapixel rear shooter, LED flash, a 2 megapixel front camera, 1GB RAM, 8GB expandable storage and will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 210 chipset. The Archos 50e Helium, on the other hand, will run Android 5.1 Lollipop and is totally identical to 50 Cesium in terms of hardware and design.
The third phone i.e. Archos Diamond S will feature a 5-inch 720-pixel display which will be protected with Gorilla Glass 3, a 16 megapixel rear camera, LED flash, a 8 megapixel front camera, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage and will run on MediaTek’s MT6753 SoC.
All these smartphones will be displayed by Archos at their booth during the IFA trade show that’s bound to happen in Berlin in September’s beginning.
