It has been leaked before and now the handset has become official. The LG G3 Stylus, as you might have guessed, is coming with a stylus for taking notes, sketching, and scratching when there’s an itch. The device is said to be here to compete against the Galaxy Note 4, though it doesn’t seem to have what it takes to become a worthy rival to the upcoming Samsung device.
First of all, the handset is not bigger than the original LG G3. It features a 5.5-inch qHD screen. That’s right, it’s coming with a resolution of 960 x 540. The LG G3, as you should know, boasts a 2K QHD display. Other specs of the LG G3 Stylus include a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB of memory (microSD cards are supported), a 13MP camera, a 1.3MP front shooter, and a 3,000mAh battery. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
The handset, which will be available in Black, White and Gold, will be launched in Brazil next month before heading to Asia, Middle East, Africa and CIS. The device should be priced significantly less than the G3 or the Galaxy Note 4.
