Are you a selfie-obsessed person waiting for the arrival of the Nokia Lumia 730? Maybe you should check out the newly announced HTC Butterfly 2 which will allow you to take “beautiful selfies with ease”, according to the company.
The HTC Butterfly 2 has a Duo Camera setup and features a 13MP rear camera with dual-flash and 1080p video, and there’s a 5MP front facing camera for taking better selfies.
Other specs include a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, a 5-inch Full HD screen, 2GB RAM, 16/32GB of storage (with support for microSD cards), BoomSound technology, and a 2700mAh battery. The device runs Android 4.4 KitKat, is water and dust resistant, and there’s HARMAN’s LiveStage signal processing tech.
But all that is in a plastic body, so it won’t give you a class feeling that the metallic One M8 gives.
Pricing hasn’t been announced by the company. As for availability, it probably isn’t heading to the US market. It will be available in Japan first as the HTC J butterfly HTL23 from KDDI and in Taiwan on the 2nd of September. Then the device will be released in Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and other markets.
So, who all want to play with the new HTC Butterfly 2?
