It is widely expected that the iPhone 6 will be introduced by Apple in September, a launch month which has been rumored several times already. A new rumor is now suggesting a release date for the device.
According to a source of MacRumors, the Apple iPhone 6 will be released on the 14th of October. Apparently that Tuesday will be an “immense” day for Apple and the month of October will be a busy one for the company. The month, of course, should be a busy one if they are indeed going to release the much anticipated next-gen iPhone on the above said date. And maybe Apple will also show off the iWatch, OS X Yosemite, new iPads, and new Macs in October, as rumored earlier.
The company reportedly is also planning a media event for September 16. According to a report which came out last week, the company has plans for an event scheduled to happen in mid-September for showing off the iPhone 6 and iOS 8.
But there are no hints about whether both the upcoming iPhones, the 4.7 and 5.5 inch models, will be released on the same date. Several rumors have pointed towards a delayed release, in late December or 2015, for the larger model due to production issues.
