AEON Leather Gloves Play Friendly with Touchscreens (Video)

Winter is coming. While Tyrion Lannister and Jon Snow aren’t rocking iPhones, you probably do have a touchscreen smartphone that you still want to use when the weather gets cold. I’ve reviewed a couple of touchscreen gloves before, but they were fabric-based. What about people who want something a little more premium and a little more fashionable?

AEON Attire has you covered with its Touchpoint Glove. This is a premium leather glove that will work with all touchscreen devices, including your favorite smartphone and tablet. There are two main designs — the Quilt Touchpoint and the Rider Touchpoint — but they both offer fundamentally the same features and functions. The gloves come with nanotechnology that “mimics the touch of a human hand to operate personal devices.” You get a 100% leather exterior and no one will be able to tell that these are special touchscreen gloves.

The Kickstarter campaign achieved 116% funding in less than 12 hours. They only set a goal of $2,500, but that’s all they need to get production going. As of this writing, they’ve received over $4,000 in pledges and rising. If you want to get a pair for yourself, pledge a minimum of $65 and that includes shipping within Canada. Delivery is expected next month, just in time for that cold, cold holiday shopping season.

  1. I saw something like this at Coach! Though I ended up buying a pair by a brand called Quill & Tine at Judith & Charles (Canadian store) because it was prettier. Love them!
