If you are interested in getting a budget friendly Windows Phone device, maybe what’s destined to end up in your pocket is the Lumia 620 which is currently available throughout the US on Aio Wireless, AT&T’s prepaid subsidiary and the first carrier in the US to carry the Nokia device. The handset is available with a price tag of just $99.
For that price, you will be getting features such as a 3.8” LCD display with ClearBlack technology, a 5MP camera, a 1Ghz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 512MB of RAM and 8GB of storage (with support for microSD cards). Those are not exactly killer specs of course, but quite decent for that price tag.
You will be able to get the device at an Aio Wireless store near you or online here. As you might know, earlier Aio was limited to select markets in Tampa, Houston, and Orlando. But customers can reportedly ask for the Lumia 620 to be sent to them no matter where they are located. And no need to worry about coverage as Aio Wireless’ service will be available wherever you get AT&T’s network.
And just to let you know, if you want to get the device unlocked you will have to use it with Aio Wireless for four months. $55/month is the cost of the cheapest available plan, so you will be paying a total of $320 for getting the unlocked Lumia 620. Not interested in a 4-month commitment with AIO Wireless? You might want to check out Amazon instead.
