Retro Duo Portable Allows You to Play Your Retro NES/SNES Games on the Go

These days it is pretty easy to grab an emulator app, throw a bunch of games onto your smartphone and go. But what if you want a more ‘authentic’ experience for when you’re on the go? You could certainly grab a controller attachment for your device – or you could go a step further and get yourself the Retro Duo NES/SNES system.

At $99, the Retro Duo might not be the cheapest solution, but it is certainly the coolest. This thing actually takes REAL cartridges, none of that rom business. The console’s design is even somewhat reminiscent of the SNES.

Besides supporting real cartridges, the device also has two superRetro controllers and a battery life for up to 8 hours per charge. It can even hook up to a TV via a standard A/V cable. So what do you think, worth $99? Maybe not for everyone, but if you are super into retro gaming, this certainly be worthy of the price.
