The Apple iPhone 5S and the cheaper iPhone 5C are expected to be unveiled at a special Apple event on the 10th of September. And now we have a new hint regarding when the device will be released in the US and other countries around the world.
According to Japan’s Nikkei, both upcoming Apple devices will land in Japan on September 20th. If this info is right, since Japan is usually among the first countries to receive a new iPhone it’s safe to believe that the devices would be released on the same day in the US, UK, and many other markets.
Furthermore, they are also saying that the iPhone 5S’ rumored gold color option is indeed coming and that the handsets will be launched on SoftBank and KDDI. NTT DoCoMo will not be offering the devices.
As for what’s expected, the iPhone 5S is thought to be coming with an A7 processor, an improved camera, and a fingerprint scanner. We have also heard that the device will have 1GB of ‘faster’ RAM.
