The IFA trade show in Berlin – as you might know – will certainly feature a lot of goodies for all the tech fans to drool upon and one among the expected products is the Samsung Galaxy Note III, the internals of which we took a look at earlier. Now, according to a Korean blog, Samsung has plans to show off not only their new phablet but also their rumored smartwatch called Samsung GEAR on September 4.
As for what’s coming, the Galaxy Note III is expected to feature a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED 1920 x 1080 screen, a 13 megapixel camera with Xenon flash, a quad core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip (for North America and Europe, Exynos 5420 for other markets), 3GB RAM, support for LTE-Advanced, and Android 4.3. The S Pen of course will be there.
We have also heard earlier that the phablet will be available in four different variants.
The name “GEAR” for the smartwatch comes from trademark filings made by Samsung, but no other info is available on the upcoming device. But if it is going to be launched with the Galaxy Note III, Samsung might show off some cool interactive features with the devices.
