If KOI 172.02 is 70 million from a sun the same strength as ours, it is not an inhabitable planet. There has been no confirmation. There is no evidence of water. There is no evidence of an atmosphere. There is nothing earth like about KOI. All this is, is b.-freaking-s. This is really just wishful speculation. Venus is 66 million miles from our sun. I mean, considering that what we know about this planet probably only comes from noticing a wobble of its star, and the star dimming as the planet passes in front, rather than a high-res photograph or anything.
