Ramos, a Chinese technology company, is trying to cash in on the tablet boom. The device pictured above is the Ramos W42 tablet. It’s 9.4 inch IPS display has a 1280 x 800 pixel screen resolution. For a low-cost device, this tablet has above average specs. Take a look:

The Ramos W42 also has a TF card slot. A TF, T-Flash, card is the former name for microSD before the SD Card Association renamed it. Weighing in at just 524g, the W42 is 128 grams lighter than the newest iPad. On the other hand, this tablet is just over a millimeter thicker (10.5mm) than the iPad (9.4mm).
The main buying point of this device is that you can find it online for just $218. Although you can also grab a Nexus 7 for 18 dollars cheaper, the Ramos W42 will give you a significantly bigger screen and 8GB of more storage. Note: I am sticking with my Nexus 7 for the time being.
