Ramos, a Chinese technology company, is trying to cash in on the tablet boom. The device pictured above is the Ramos W42 tablet. It’s 9.4 inch IPS display has a 1280 x 800 pixel screen resolution. For a low-cost device, this tablet has above average specs. Take a look:
- Samsung Exynos 4412, 1.4GHz, Cortex A9 Quad Core
- Mali 400 MP4 GPU
- Android 4.0.4
- 1GB RAM
- 16GB flash storage
- 5400mAh battery
- 2.0 megapixels rear camera
- 0.3 megapixel front camera
- Aluminum casing
The main buying point of this device is that you can find it online for just $218. Although you can also grab a Nexus 7 for 18 dollars cheaper, the Ramos W42 will give you a significantly bigger screen and 8GB of more storage. Note: I am sticking with my Nexus 7 for the time being.
Have you bought a low-cost tablet yet? Or are you sticking to the principle that you get what you pay for? Let us know in the comments below.
