It seems that for Chinese manufacturers going “super-size” at CES is a big part of the plan. First it was Huawei with the enormous 6.1-inch Ascend Mate, and now it is TCL with their 110-inch Ultra-HD TV.
The “China Star” 3D 4K TV features the same Marvell Armada 1500 SoC as similar Google powered TV’s launched this year at CES, but features TCL’s own custom skin for the UI. TCL has also equipped the monstrous home TV with face recognition, which is capable of offering customised experiences to family members. This would be perfect for locking away certain ‘premium’ channels certain family members aren’t meant to see.
If these great feature aren’t enough for you to want to hand over you cash, then just remember if you buy the 110-inch TCL TV you are in-fact buying the same TV as Tony Stark has in Iron Man 3.[ Source ]
