They want it to be instagram, when it was something far more like Lightroom. They've destroyed the algorithms so that they all show extreme artifacting using "box" filters, they've removed functional features and controls, replacing them with utterly pointless instagram like filters. They removed useful social support in lieu of G+ which is a dead product, and now they're going to add adverts to the whole thing. Well done Google for missing the point once again.
