A new video review from PocketNow has arrived comparing the Nokia Lumia 920 versus the HTC 8X. While many of us tend to prefer the Nokia Lumia line to what HTC has to offer, HTC 8X is a solid phone that certainly might appeal to some of us that aren’t interested in the Nokia Lumia 920.

It will likely come down to your own preferences here. HTC 8X is lighter, but not everyone is going to love its 16:9 aspect ratio. As far as build quality and overall performance, the Nokia Lumia 920 is very hard to beat and has a superb camera. One thing the HTC 8x really has going for it in the United States is that you aren’t stuck with AT&T, unlike the Nokia Lumia 920.

Anyhow, take a look at the PocketNow video:

So which Windows 8 phone seems like the right choice for you? Perhaps you are more interested in the Lumia 820 or 822, or even what Samsung offers?

It looks like the Nokia 920 is the same or a little better in every category. Except for the camera, which is way, way better in the Nokia 920. The 920 camera is really astonishing to use. I bought a Nokia 920 a couple of days ago.

I much prefer the Nokia 920 but will be getting the HTC 8X since there’s no way I’m switching to AT&T.

had an htc evo… it had light leakage on bottom of the screen, 3 replacements later… still light leakage. HTC build quality is terrible.

There are already light leakage issues with the bottom left corner of 920s. Look it up.

correction: should read “They could NOT design or innovate if their lives depended on it”

HTC blantantly copied Nokia. They could design or innovate if their lives depended on it

If you knew anything about design and the time frame required to do design and production, you would realize how stupid you and others are about this issue.

If you would read up a little more you would know that Microsoft pushed HTC to have colorful phones…
