Google doesn’t need to turn a profit on its hardware business. It’s all about search and ad revenue.

I love my GNex but I think this is an awesome way for technology to move forward and make high end products more affordable. With this kind of shift it can be a great move for Google at increasing following base of the android community increasing the desirability for app designers to move to the Android platform make a move into decreasing the hold Apple has on its consumers. . Again with simple business competition is always good for the consumers .
