You have got to be kidding! They have just sold the 100 millionth ipad. Does that sound like messing up, to you? The iPad mini costs more because its a better product. The android tablets don’t have anywhere NEAR the functionality, as the iPad mini. Ie: Garage Band, IPhoto, IMovie, etc…..Apple is a freaking JUGGERNAUT, deservedly so…the iPad Mini is in a different category than the Android “storefront” tablets, and the sales will soar…

I was so going to pre-order the iPad mini this week. Then I saw the pricing, and then the deal-breaker, the specs. An A5 processor? Really? For that price? Apple can’t be getting more greedy can it? Many complain about no retina display, but personally I don’t care much for the retina display because I’d rather have app compatibility right away, and it’s a smaller display anyhow. But I would expect at least an A6 processor, and at least 1GB of RAM.

I have an iPad 1st gen, and wanted something smaller, more portable, and more powerful than my iPhone. I was looking forward to the iPad mini, but now I’m basically sold on getting an Android small tablet instead (Nexus, Galaxy Note 2…).

Paying a 65% premium for a logo is overrated. Apple seems to be messing up more and more these days…

Hey Daniel, sorry about the confusion. I should have looked at both models, sorry about that. Apple’s site does in fact show just the white models of the iPad Mini as shipping two weeks later. All black are still in stock.

This isn’t true. The White iPad 16GB sold out with 20 mins… So if you pre-order the WHITE iPad Mini before 3:20am then your iPad Mini will be ship on Nov 2nd. BUT if you pre-order after 3:20am then You will have to wait two more weeks to get your White iPad Mini 16GB.. Its something like that! It’s only the WHITE iPad Mini! Really should get your facts straight!

I’ve been waiting for a midrange-sized iPad to come out, and already placed an order for this one yesterday! It might be pricier than some other comparable tablets, but I love Apple products because they’ve been so reliable in the past. I see my coworkers at DISH use their iPads to read or watch shows at lunch and I can’t wait to see how video quality looks on it when I use the DISH Remote Access app. I can watch live TV and recorded shows on my iPad when I’m away from home. I’m glad I ordered the 32GB model so I won’t have to wait longer than Nov. 2 to get it!
