Motorola Droid Razr HD and HD Maxx Hit Verizon on October 18th

The Droid RAZR HD and Maxx HD are finally on their way to Verizon. The new devices are expected to arrive on the 18th of October. The Razr HD and Maxx HD both have crazy long battery operation, with the Maxx model promising 32 hours of normal use.

The sizes of the phones are quite similar, the only real spec differences being 32GB of storage and a bigger battery in the Maxx. Both the HD and Maxx have a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM, an 8MP camera, NFC and 4G LTE, and a 4.7-inch 720p display.

How much will they set you back? $199 for the Razr HD and $299 for the Razr HD Maxx. If you are into phones that have long battery life and like larger screen sizes, there is tons to be excited about for the new flagship Droid RAZR line.
Looking for something a bit smaller that also performs quite well? The 4.3-inch Motorola Droid RAZR M recently came to Verizon and is also certainly worth your time and consideration.

Motorola might not be the ‘leading brand’ in the smartphone world, but the new Droid RAZR line shows they certainly can compete with stylish and capable devices. What do you think? Excited by any of the recent Motorola offerings or not?

  1. Why does this only have 1GB RAM vs S3 that has 2GB RAM!? I don’t get that. Other than battery life, this is a downgrade for more $$$. I had an S3 for about 2 weeks and sent it back, holding out for the RAZR MAXX HD, only to find out it can’t even meet the same specs…I didn’t like the S3 because it was ugly and very cheaply built. The screen also cracked in my pocket. CHEAP. I’ve always had Moto phones and could drop them on pavement, watch them bounce, with no case and never cracked a screen before. S3 = Cheap (and cheaply built plastic), but beats the RAZR MAXX HD in specs…what gives.

  2. Sorry don’t mean to piss anyone off with a galaxy s3 so don’t take it personal but the s3 is a super ugly phone. Like the ugliest phone I’ve seen in a few years when it come to new top tier android phones. Not only is it ugly it is built cheap. It looks super cheap and the body is made of chinsy plastic. What an ugly phone overall and cheap too. Yes it performs well but I want a phone that is built durable looks like it is worth the money you paid for it and also performs. The new moto phones are amazing they have it all plus amazing battery life. Me buy maxx. First time I’m going to have a moto phone in a long time like 10-15 years. Actually I’m not sure if I ever hada moto phone but it’s about time

  3. these are the ultimate phones, sorry sammy as the hd is way more elegance than your top tier offerings.
