It seems that Motorola has now released information on its timetable for ICS updates to its smartphones and tablets. Wondering when your update is coming? Wonder no longer. It seems that ICS rollouts will be broken out into three categories – those rolling out in Q2 of this year, those in Q3, and those that will have “further details follow”.

For Q2 we have the Xoom Wi-Fi only, RAZR, Xoom Family Edition, MT917 and XT928. In the third quarter ICS will make its way over to the Atrix 2, Atrix 4G, Photon 4G, Xoom 2, Xoom 2 Media Edition, Xyboard 8.2, and Xyboard 10.1.

Finally, the Droid 4, Droid Bionic, Droid RAZR, and Droid RAZR MAXX fall under the “further details to follow”. What exactly does that mean? That could be anyone’s guess. I find it somewhat out that the Droid series is the only devices being kept in the dark on solid ICS information, though.

Late is better than never, I suppose.

Put it in that context makes it seem shady or something…..good parallel to draw there. Thanks
