What means high-res icons anyway?

Linux has some scalable, pretty high-res icons since almost the down of time… And no one goes there saying anything about retina displays.

Which means that, a) there’s something more than high-res icons and I didn’t notice or; b) this explains why apple earns so many hate: do nothing and still an army of people create spectacular rumors where’s nothing at all, specially nothing new at all.
