get finally today my transformer prime, i need to say quite disappointed to discovered that all advert arount prime was just a bag create from asus marketing, Asus transformer prime is good average tablet, not by sure the best. GPS is dead even outside, wi-fi is too weak and sound is very funny is acceptable quality only if you turn the machine very stupid decision from saus put speackier on the back and it doesnt make any sense.
I will return this tableb, my vote is 3/5, i have returned even apple I-pad 2even more useless then prime, vote 2/5. I will wait for more cleaver tablet function and hardware.

My transformer prime is borked. I do not believe the metal cover is not the culprit. My evo 4g gets 14 view and 11 use sats inside my fry pan with lid made of metal. I can transmit the mock gps to my prime from my evo but it is flaky at best seems the comms inside the TFP are the prob. Need a fix asus. If i was filthy rich, I’d just get the tf700 in july and give my old one to the homeless. Seems they would have no need for the gps to work. Watch a firmware update for the prime 201 come out after the record sales of the tf700. Asus win win aah……

We just had severe solar flair and a coronal ejection. Both reak havoc with gps and other devices as cell phones. This could have coincided with the update.

I don’t think it is successful. My TPrime just flashes the GPS icon forever. Horrible.

What do you mean? They made an update attempt, which excluding this article, I’ve heard has been successful.
