When it comes to running Android apps on the PC, one name comes to mind: Bluestacks. A lot of big news has been surrounding this program recently, starting with the CES 2012 announcement that the application would support running apps inside Windows 8 touch-optimized Metro UI.

Now, we are happy to report that what previously had been classified as ‘alpha’ software is finally moving on to the beta stages. This means better compatibility and more stability for users looking to run great Android apps inside on Windows tablets, desktops, and laptops.

Users who are interested in signing up for access to the beta can do so through the company’s website.
