The new year is coming up in a few hours, maybe it’s already past for some of you. But Mobile Magazine is excited to release our top 10 stories of the year because well, you never know what can happen. What was really hot? What caught everyone’s interest? What topped the charts? Well, no need to wonder any longer as we have revealed the top 10 stories of the year 2011.

It’s clear that the Apple iPhone, particularly the iPhone 5, was a hot topic this past year.  As was that ancient Windows Mobile 6.5 for some strange reason.  Most interesting of all was the $99 college note slate.  Don’t we all wish we had that last semester?  Maybe we can in 2012, as with the iPhone 5.
