Best android phones are made by HTC. And they also have the best track record for providing updates to existing users (motorola being not so close second, and samsung being dead last)

Sorry about the typos. It was written on my latest Droid 2 Global. I get upset when I think about the junk they are putting out.

My friends: (First initial of name. Motorola Model. Current replacement count)
B. Droid 2 Third one in a year or less
S. Droid 2 Second. Actually lasted nearly a year and just failed.
T. Droid X Third. Screen acting weird. Getting replaced next week. (Unknown length of ownership)
M. Droid 3 Fifth. He bought it when it first came out. He has now officially begged them for something else.
Me. Droid 2 Five in just about a year. Switched to Droid 2 Global at Sixth one. This is my 2nd Droid 2 Global.

GPS eonnections were spotty because the D3 uses a new type of gps chip that only Motorola is using causing communication problems between software and hardware. Motorola knows about that and their fix, did not fix it. The return rate on this phone is astronomical. Motorola is slipping up bad. I went through 5 Droid 2's in less than a year. My friend has now been through 5 Droid 3's in just a couple months. I used to be a complete Motorola fanboy and adviced all my friends to get them. The only Droid they've made that held up was the Droid 1. Droid 2's are VERY bad. The X has a high failure rate, the D2G has a high fail rate, the X2 is VERY high, the Bionic is FILLED with bugs (just do a quick search online), and the Droid3 may be the worst of all. I Loved Moto...and they ruined me. Not just one experiance. I have some friend that can't stand Android period now because of Moto. It's really a shame. Goggle doesn't know what they're getting into... If you've had goof luck with a Motorola. Give it a year. If you make it to a year, I'll be surprised (but very happy for you), and remember; these have to last TWO.

"Week signal"? Does that mean the signal lasts for seven days, or that's the amount of time the author needs to proofread his article, or that's the amount of time remaining until mobilemag hires a literate editor?
