I’m not sure I understand you.. I’m basically saying their products tend to sell very well as it is, so the numbers they release may be unheard of for some companies, but not for them.

When it comes to Apple products there really is no need for them to inflate numbers.

No one in the trade takes ‘pre-order’ figures seriously.

Mostly inflated figures as companies take orders over and above what they require just to get maximum profit margins. They often return a large percentage a few months later.

But it looks good on Press Releases… :)
