Sony NEX-C3: Worlds Smallest and Lightest Interchangeable Lens Camera

Sony’s NEX–C3 camera has a 16.2 MP APS-C sized sensor, shoots 720 HD video, and weighs just 225 grams making it the smallest and lightest interchangeable lens camera in the world.

Amateur photographers will find the NEX-C3 very easy to use thanks in part to its “aperture,” “exposure value” and “white balance” being renamed by simple laymen terms, such as “background defocus,” “brightness” and “color”.

Users can add extra impact to stills or video images during shooting via the Picture Effect setting. The options available are: Partial Color, Retro Photo, Toy Camera, Pop Color etc. One interesting option is Soft Skin which lets users remove blemishes and wrinkles for a perfect skin appearance.

Battery life has been improved and users can now take up to 400 still photos with one battery charge. The camera is available in two colors (black and silver) and should hit the stores this August.
