HP Veer and Palm Pre 3 unveiled

Continuing on the announcement of the webOS HP Touchpad at the Herbst Pavilion in San Francisco comes the HP Veer and Palm Pre 3.

The HP Veer is an HSPA + smartphone with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 2.6-inch 320×400 touch display, a special gesture area, full web with Adobe Flash, and built-in GPS. With 8GB of storage and the same amount of memory as the Pre 2, it runs the Snapdragon 800mhz processor and has an accelerometer, proximity and light sensors. Mobile hotspot support allows you to create a wireless network with the HSPA+ connection.

The Palm Pre 3 is a thin slider with large keyboard and gesture area. It has a 3.6-inch WVGA display, 2.5 times the resolution of the Pre. Adds a 5mp camera with HD video image stabilization, a front-facing camera for video calls and will come in either HSPA+ or EVDO revA. 802.11 b/g/n connectivity is also included. Same RAM as the Pre2 with a Qualcomm 1.4ghz processor. They will both be available this summer.
