You do know that the chief exporter of oil to the US is Canada right? Second place? Mexico. The majority of the rest comes from South America.

The oil companys and the tax man would exterminate this company and its personel , before letting anything like this on to the worlds markets.
They have to much to lose and are utterly ruthless.

I'd have to agree, in part, with Nicolas. If it stops us killing each other over dirt and oil, it's a very good thing. No doubt ruthless regimes and greedy corporatists will find some other reason, however. The military industrial complex won't give up that easily.

I hope that soon the dirty oil supplies of the arabian peninsula will be no more required to supply all the busy nations where creation, studies and genius make progress humankind. How nice it will be to see a world where all this money paid for gasolines by the consumers will remain in their own economical systems (bypassing the useless "dirt supplier", circulate only among these nations which generate the true values by their hard work, their factories and well known creativity. End of the reign of these crude oil suppliers who supply nothing else than old dirt out of their soils, beside a bad example in general. Also the economicaly still developing nations will be freed from alegiences towards ugly regimes as soon as their real independance can be achieved also for their fuel supplies. Thank you !!

Still, sounds interesting.
