It looks almost like an optical illusion when his eyes started blinking that fast. And they were blinking out of sync! Very odd to look at….but fascinating from a scientific viewpoint. As long as it didn’t hurt my eyes, I think I would quite enjoy trying this technique out.

I can’t imagine this replacing the glasses, it has to be uncomfortable, if not while viewing, immediately after. I am sure there will be some short and long term side effects.

Well I’ll go out on a limb and say that if it is tested and proved safe without damage it looks like the way forward. Or even modified contact lenses…

now way is that good for your eyes. He looks like his eyes are having seizures. I think I’ll stick with the glasses. I wear glasses already, so what difference does it make if I have a second pair on top? I hope he doesn’t have complications later in life for over using those things.

This looks promising as wearing those 3D glasses can be uncomfortable, however as the video did not show what it was like for the presenter I wouldn’t know how good the 3D was he was watching. I really don’t think that 3D TV will catch on until more research into effects on the eyes is carried out.

I think It would be an uncomfortable experience, not just for the feel of the experience, but also the medical safety related issues would be a worry.

I dont know this new product makes me a bit skeptical, I mean the presentation didnt really show you what it looked like from his point of view. Aside from that the constant blinking he did was just weird all together. I think they should do some studies on this to rule out possible eye damage before anythings released. None the less it would be interesting to see this in stores.

If I had to wear that to watch 3D movies, I’d be too tired to enjoy the movie. While it’s an interesting idea, it seems way to complicated, dangerous, and annoying.
