Leaked: Samsung Galaxy S Mini with 3.5-inch Super AMOLED

Maybe you like the idea of owning one of the Samsung Galaxy S smartphones, but you don’t want something so large an unwieldly. If that’s the case, you might be pretty stoked to hear about the possibility of a Samsung Galaxy S Mini… as pictured here.

The leaked images have obviously not been confirmed by the boys and girls in Seoul just yet, but this pint-sized stablemate of the other Samsung Android phones looks like it could be the real deal. From what we hear, the 4-inch screen has been replaced with a smaller 3.5-inch display. That’s not as small as the Palm Pre 2, but it’s about on par with the iPhone 4.

It’s not on par with the iPhone for resolution, though, boasting just 320 x 480 pixels. On the bright side, they’ll likely stick with Super AMOLED. Other supposed specs include Android 2.2 Froyo, 5MP camera, Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, and WCDMA support.

The Samsung Galaxy S Mini, also dubbed the S5830, may not be quite as powerful or as slim as some of its full-sized counterparts, but it’ll likely be cheaper and more pocket-friendly. Look for it at MWC.
