iHome debuts wireless iW1 speaker system at CES 2011

Debuting at CES 2011 this week, iHome has just revealed the iW1 Wireless Speaker System with AirPlay. Music can be wirelessly streamed to the iW1 using AirPlay.

“The iW1 takes full advantage of that connectivity that AirPlay offers consumers by seamlessly streaming music through the entire home,” said Ezra S. The iW1 is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and packs four speakers in its compact design. Moreover, it leverages the Bongiovi Acoustics Digital Power Station software solution which helps deliver exceptional sound using small, light and inexpensive hardware.
