No way I would give up my touch screen keyboard for a freaking hard keyboard. I've used both and a hard keyboard is way slower and is no better than a touch screen keyboard, except for keyboard shortcuts that I can never remember anyway. A hard keyboard makes the phone bigger and heavy. I do a lot of typing on my phone and there's no hard keyboard I've found that can out perform a touch screen keyboard. I'm typing this on my EVO.

I do like the idea of it being preloaded with Gingerbread and at this point I will continue to reccommend a physical keyboard over a virtual one any day, especially for someone who does a fair amount of emailing. The only thing I don't understand is why the downgrade in processing power. I figured any of the "EVO" series devices would have been 1Ghz+. Either way it should definitely hit a pretty decent market of people, especially those who favor HTC quality over the rest ... EG: Myself. Thanks for the news MobileMag.
