Before I rooted my EVO, it was a little too laggy for me. Now with the rooted EVO, this is by gar the fastest handset I have used. Removed all the bloatware, overclocked my cpu so its fast when I use it, and saves battery when I don't. BUT the main reason I rooted... was for FREE mobile hotspot using a wireless tether app. Ronny… the reason I rooted my phone is for the performance.
