DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED WITH AT&T! I was with them forever.. and ugh. I had to switch to prepaid for half the prices. I mean just ridiculous!!! I was using straight talk because its on the verizon network.. AND NEVER EVEER EVER do i have to deal with such ridiculous prices and going in and out. I swear it is such such a better idea.

I am actually surprised by this. I have AT&T for awhile now and not had any problems at all. They are a little more expensive than some carriers but the service has been great and not had any dropped calls. Maybe there is hope for AT&T after all.

I agree with the the article att it's only getting new customers because of the iphone 4 but next year verizon is going to release their own iphone so att it's not going to have an advantage any more.

Wow...And I thought I was the only one that was unhappy with AT&T's service. I had an iPhone 3g that started acting buggy (of course AT&T wouldn't take care of it either), the service would drop whenever and the phone would shutoff in the middle of calls. I finally got fed up and switched to Verizon and to an Android phone. I never knew the service could be this good.

I think most users that have AT&T only went with them because of the iPhone like the article stated. I think once Verizon get's the iPhone...more users will switch that what AT&T realizes. The only reason AT&T has a lot of subscribers is because of the iPhone. Watch their subscriber rate drop as Verizon get's the iPhone.

I would like to gleefully point out two things; A large portion of customers added to AT&T's network can be attributed to tracfone's straight talk service, who recently introduced smart phones to their line-up of hand sets. Secondly, their service was rates worse than tracfone's....HAH!
