Feel like stretching out that corporate expense account with a few new toys? It looks like Jabra has gone headset crazy, announcing no fewer than six brand new headsets this week. The kicker is that they all come paired with their own little touchscreen displays and they all play nice with Microsoft Lync.
As a quick refresher, Lync is the thing from Microsoft that was once known as Microsoft Office Communicator. It’s basically a more corporate version of Windows Live Messenger, tying into Outlook, Exchange Server, and other business-oriented solutions from Microsoft.
The six Jabra headset all work fundamentally the same kind of way with docking stations and touchscreens, but the form factors range from relatively small Bluetooth headsets to full-on headphones. You can find them about the Jabra Pro 9400 and Jabra Go 6400 series.
Prices can get as high as $500, which sounds like quite a bit for a corporate-minded IM accessory, but think about the
street office cred that you’ll get on that video chat when they see you rocking the hot new Jabra. Jabra® Launches Revolutionary Solutions for Microsoft Lync
