Chrome to Phone is the missing link

Google’s Chrome-to-Phone solution launched yesterday, it’s a two part system that allows Chrome web browsers to send links to their Android 2.2 smartphone. The software fills the void of linking your home desktop navigation findings to your smartphone for on the go browsing.

Typically you would have to email yourself a link, with Chrome-to-Phone you just click the ‘Chrome to Phone’ button in your browser, and your phone will receive the link.

If you are viewing a map on Google Maps, click ‘Chrome to Phone’ and your phone will automatically load Google Maps. It also works for any regular web page, like restaurant listings, telephone web search results, the possibilities are endless. Now all we need is a Google Voice Action for our desktop, “Chrome to Phone”.
