Android 2.3 is now released on the google nexus s made by samsung, it IS gingerbread and IS NOT android 3.0.
What dumbass thought of that one, they gonna make android 2.0, 2.1, 2.2, then forget the rest and jump to 3.0. seriously people where the hell did your brains run away to….

hay i was waiting for the galaxy s pro but now its not comming to the u k. samung can put there phones up there buck side ive had them for years not any more im going to see about the H T C vision sounds one hell of a phone

geee, im waiting even for a android phone,,, damit, i cant get a decent phone her in mexico, we suscribers on a GMS network we only get 3 android phones so far.. motorola DEXT, BACKFLIP, and sony ericsson XPERIA x10 which by the way isnt multi touch. and on the CDMA carrier we only get motorolas DROID and thats it,,,

John: I’ve heard both, actually. I’m not entirely sure whether Gingerbread is 2.3 or 3.0, so until Google makes some sort of formal announcement, I don’t think anyone knows for sure.

This Vision will be a terrible phone. I’m waiting for the four core phone running Android 3.7.
