Apple wants y’all to know their magical new delicious iPad will be available in the US on Saturday. If you pre-ordered you can check out your mailox Saturday, if not, Apple and Best Buy stores across the country will be stocking the units.
Steve Jobs is pretty darn excited about it. “iPad connects users with their apps and content in a far more intimate and fun way than ever before,” said Steve. “We can’t wait for users to get their hands and fingers on it this weekend.”
Yes, yes, we know Steve. But what are you really excited about? Could it be the huge revenues you expect to make from the iPad apps? If you have a look at the video below, Apple iPad apps are quite a bit more expensive than the iPhone apps, roughly ranging from $7.99 to $9.99. iBooks also launches on Saturday, giving you access to thousands of titles. What else is in store for the iPad? A lot of new websites, that’s for sure. Since Steve and Co said no to Flash, websites with extensive amounts of Flash content are scrambling to create new “iPad friendly” versions of their website. Stay tuned for more from the magical world of Apple and don’t forget to enter to win your own iPad from Mobile Magazine.
