Swedish Doro phone designed with seniors in mind

Doro PhoneEasy 410 for Seniors

Not to be confused with a certain explorer named Dora, Doro of Sweden has created a cell phone for older people who are overwhelmed by the features found on many of today’s handsets. This mobile phone is simple and easy-to-use, but it also comes with some more advanced functions should you need those too.

The new Doro PhoneEasy 410gsm was created largely for the senior market, because a recent market survey indicates that 29% of seniors are intimidated by cell phones.

With the Doro PhoneEasy 410gsm, users gain access to a large color display, illuminated keypad, amplified sound, text message capabilities, Bluetooth, FM radio, and a one-touch emergency button that calls and texts a designated number.

The senior-minded flip phone is available in your choice of burgundy, mother of pearl, or matte black. The Doro PhoneEasy 410gsm will go on sale May 1 through Consumer Cellular, the official wireless carrier of AARP. Yeah, it’s no iPhone but sometimes some of us just need to step back from all the bells and whistles.

  1. Another great option for seniors is the Just5 phone. It is a simple phone that rolls convenience and safety in one. It has personal emergency response system, large buttons, bright display, amplified sound, flash light, and wireless FM radio. Check this phone at http://www.just5.com.
