SanDisk iNand x3 64GB now double the size

SanDisk’s iNand x3 embedded flash drives came in 32GB sizes up until today, the company announced a new 64GB version will be available to manufacturers for smartphones and other devices to store system code, boot information and mass storage like photos, music and video.

The new 64GB iNAND EFD is based on an eight flash die stack design using SanDisk’s advanced X3 32nm flash, and is offered in a 16x20x1.4mm form factor with a standard ball grid array (BGA) for quick integration into smartphone designs.
