Google is creating a Buzz in the social networking world with a new service that will integrate serious location-based services into your seamlessly connected arsenal of Google applications.
Google Buzz is its name, and location reporting like latitude, longitude coordinates, with a bit of Facebook and Twitter styles are its game. You will be able to place names and snap photos, record the location and let other users in your network know where you are/been or plan to go. Google will ask your permission first of course, then display a list of places nearby – which is already catalogued at 50 million.
The services are integrated into mobile Google’s search page and buzz.google.com for the iPhone, Android, maps on Android, S60 and Windows Mobile devices.
Buzz kicks off today, GMail users will see a new tab pop up under their inbox within “the next few days.”
