Imagine a scanner that can copy a full page in 4 seconds and is portable.  We just came across the VuPoint PDS-ST410-VP Magic Wand and this portable scanner is small enough to fit in your laptop bag and can scan either color or B&W A4 pages at 600 x 600 resolutions, which are then stored on a microSD card to be downloaded onto your PC or Mac via a simple USB connection. 

Full color scans are about 28 seconds and the black and white scans only takes 4 seconds.  Power is drawn from 2AA batteries. 

The price tag on this little scanner is $99.99, a bit much but quite convenient for its size.
