The S2500 is for the higher end crowd, featured as a megazoom camera with 18x optical zoom lens, image stabilization and HD 720p video recording, and is full compatibility with HDTV’s.  The S1730 and S1600 each have a 15x zoom and a 12-megapixel resolution, dual image stabilization, face detection technology and auto red eye fix, ISO 6400 and also 720 HD video recording.  The JX530 is a compact pocket size entry level camera.  Featuring a 5x optical zoom and features a more basic point-and-shoot version.
