Put the rumors to rest.  Google announced a custom designed Nexus One Desktop Dock.

A sleek design to slip your Nexus into, immediately activating the Clock app giving quick access to your alarm setting, local weather, photos, and music.  There’s even a dim option for night use.

The dock is sold separately from the Google online store for $45 or included with the Nexus One phone with purchase.  The dock serves as a charger and also includes a 3.5mm-to-RCA audio cable to connect to your stereo to listen to the phones music. Bluetooth is present so audio must be through A2DP rather than hardwired.
