Yes that’s right. BlackBerry handsets for Rogers customers will be limited on January the 17th for official maintenance from 2:00AM to 6:00AM EDT on the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) and BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) systems.

This down time will result in a bunch of services being unavailable most importantly the Internet and sending and receiving email. Text messaging should be still active, but were not sure about PIN.

What do we suggest? Perhaps sleep in, you may not be able to check your emails and Mobile Magazine during your usually 5am jog.
