Bell Mobility has become quite the happening place for Canadians in recent months. It is there that you can get your hands on the Palm Pre, the BlackBerry Bold 9700, the Samsung Omnia II, and the Apple iPhone 3GS. Well, get ready to add another smartphone to the mix and this one is quite the doozy.
The Nokia N97 isn’t exactly a super-new phone anymore, since it has been available through the grey market for a number of months, but this is the first time that we’ll see it offered through a Canadian wireless carrier. Sources are saying that the Nokia N97 will be launching through Bell this Thursday.
As you may already know, the Nokia N97 features a touchscreen display, Symbian S60v5 operating system, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 5MP camera, and plenty of wireless support. It’s expected to sell for $250 with a three-year contract.
On a side note, the December 10th launch date for the Nokia N97 also happens to be the same day that Bell will start selling the Samusng Galaxy. That happens to be the first Android phone for the carrier.
