Sometimes, it’s all about keeping stylish and looking fashionable. That’s partly why you may invest the extra money in a set of designer sunglasses over the el cheapo $10 sunglasses you find at Wal-Mart. That said, designer sunglasses need not eschew the geek.
The crazy kooks at Calvin Klein have decided that it might be a good idea to embed a USB flash drive into their latest creation, so that’s where we find ourselves today. When in its “normal” position, these sunglasses look like any other pair of eye-protecting shades. However, they hide a secret.
Along the right side, you’ll find that you can actually detach the back portion to reveal a fully functional 4GB USB flash drive. That’s certainly more discreet than the functionality you’d get with a set of Oakley Thump MP3 sunglasses… but not quite as useful.
Further still, you won’t be able to use the flash drive while still wearing your pair of Calvin Klein USB sunglasses, but I guess you shouldn’t be wearing your shades when staring at a computer monitor anyway. The USB Calvin Klein shades retail for $199.
