BlackBerry Curve 8900 for $0 from Best Buy Mobile

I’ve been sitting on the fence about getting a new smartphone for some time now, but I think I may have just been motivated to finally take the plunge into a new purchase. If you’re looking to save quite a few bucks, you may want to run over to Best Buy this weekend, because they’ve got the BlackBerry 8900 on sale for $0. Yes, zero dollars.

This is supposed to be an in-store door crasher and the sale runs between now and Sunday. In order to get the BlackBerry 8900 for free, you’ll need to sign a new three-year contract with Rogers Wireless and you’ll need a monthly voice and data plan of at least $45. This represents a $225 savings over the standard three-year pricing direct from Rogers.

Maybe the Curve 8900 isn’t your cup of tea? Best Buy is also letting you get the new BlackBerry Storm 9530 from Bell Mobility for just $49.99 with a qualifying three-year contract. That’s a $200 savings over the regular price.

But wait. There’s more. If you’re more of a Telus fanatic, they’ve got a pair of LG Dare touchscreen phones for $49.99, also with a three-year contract. That’s on a share plan and you get a bonus Acer Aspire One netbook valued at $400. That’s one crazy deal… too bad it’s the Dare.
