When I hear the Archos name, I think of portable media players that are great for portable video watching. Now the brand is spreading its wings with the arrival of the Archos 10 netbook.

It hasn’t been formally introduced by Archos just yet, but we already have some pretty good press-quality photos of the netbook, as well as its most notable specs. Based on some online sources, the Archos 10 netbook is actually a rebranded version of something built by Hasee.

Among the noted specifications are the 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 160GB hard drive, 10-inch widescreen display, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, webcam, and a card reader.

There’s nothing too out of the ordinary here when it comes to the little laptops, but it is interesting to see Archos enter the netbook market with an offering of their own… even if it’s not really their own.
